9 months since this class was formed… many things changed for me this year but I am glad that the people in this class made me feel that at least I did not make a wrong choice about going to NYJC, instead of other JCs.

I was not quite used, at first, to being in this class though. Because of the environment… very ‘Chinese’, as compared to my previous years in schools that were dominantly- English. Then, it was also my first time having so many foreign friends, from China and Taiwan. Erm… It may not seem a big deal to some people but for me, it is quite a big change.

Some of you know, I did not intend to enter JC initially. In fact, I still do not like the system. This plus the changes that I met, not just with the class but with other stuff as well, made me feel like not going to school at all sometimes.

It was tough, the first few months, until I found really caring and great friends from 0719.

In this class, I never encountered people like those I have been told of from other schools. Classmates are not selfish about lending each other their notes… people do not really stick to their own cliques… no one is left out during class activities… in short, everyone is sincere about their friendship.

I learnt a thing or two from every one of you about how to become a better person. I certainly want to thank this class for making me feel that my time in Nanyang was not a waste.

I may not have been close to everyone in this class but each one of you has played a part in making it a memorable one…

Lan Hua, thank you for always lending me your notes. You have always been concerned about me and everyone else in the class. I admire your capability of being able to balance your studies and work. You are one super-woman!

Hui Ying, you are such a friendly girl. I feel very at ease talking to you. I hope that no matter what happens, you will be able to maintain your cheerful disposition =)

Ning Zhen… one of the persons I am closest to in class. You are so good in your studies! I have never seen anyone so hardworking like you. You are always willing to help me in my studies. Thanks for that! It is also a great pleasure chatting with you.

My P.W. group- Hon Ding, Hui Ying, Benedict and Eunice… it was a great time working with you guys. Although we did meet with some problems initially, we managed to overcome them. Everyone was co-operative in the group. What more can I ask for? Haha… P.W. has ended a long time ago, so long that maybe some people might have forgotten about it but I just want to thank you guys for making it a success. I know it may sound clichéd but still, thanks for the effort, for staying up late to get things done, for practically everything!

I have not forgotten about the rest of the class but I think it would be endless if I were to go on. I think by now, some of you who are reading this may think that I am so long- winded though I am often quiet in class. Haha… =X

Just want to wish everyone in 0719 ALL THE BEST in whatever you guys do. No matter how tough it gets, PERSEVERE as long as you are doing the right thing. HAVE FAITH in yourself and most imptly, do not neglect your health (",)

On a last note, I just want to let you all know that I will be changing school when Feb comes. I will be moving on to Ngee Ann Poly but will be staying in Nanyang until my application is confirmed.

hello everybody.wahs.finally the blog's alive again.yupp this is the common platform shared by us, we who share similar tots(:
b4 i go on,Bozhen!congrats(:i saw ruixi's post and was touched.koodos to you.
okay since everybody's on the same topic, i shall FOLLOW THE CROWD!

yupp.i wanna say that i'm so thankful to be in the class i'm in now.seriously, i wasn't at all happy during sec 4.and i tot days of laughter have left me in sorrow.but i'm extremely GLAD!to have found u ppl!(:perhaps it sounds cliche, but it's from the bottom from my heart.
without u all, i wldn't know how is it like to laugh till my jaws go numb.
without u all, i wldn't be able to experience so much concern.
without u all, perhaps that smile would simply have vanished 365 days ago.
without 0719, love and friendship would nvr appear in my dictionary ever again.

when the promos result was out, there was seriously mixed feelings.i'm relieved coz my greatest fear then passed.but i just watched blankly when xinxin cried.i dare not go up to her.i didn't know wad to say.but 'xinxin don't cry.,' was whirling at the very back of my mind.
then i saw ben wo's helplessness. i could feel his fear.but i didn't know what to do either.ya i know i'm not that great to say pass your fear to me.it's not even practical.i prayed.'please let everything be alright for my bestest friend,'next, i saw captain's and heard about bengimia's result.i was disheartened.for the fear of not seeing them next year in the same class.and everyone else as well.
ytd while i was out having steamboat, ben wo msged me telling me he was damn scared.all i could do was ask him not to think so much for the time being.things may turn around for the better.but after that, i was distracted for the rest of steamboating.i started having negative tots.i began to picture wad he potrayed.i dun wan to nod heads when we meet.i wanna crap.like we always do.but i still think mdm WU will help.and WE, the 3 MUSKETEERS spirit will remain!(:

erm, ok, hi. received benendict's msg last night so in response, i am here to blog.
i remembered very clearly the date we first met as a class, 15th March 07. So tomorrow actually marks the 7th month we were tgt. in this 7 seemingly short months, we have shared many many memories. From the larger events like mid-yrs, promos to the big events like the leaving of Ms Nirmala to the very simple yet wonderful events like having chocolates during ct periods, potlucks (why am i always thinking of food? =.=") and the most recent chalet...i am sure each of these events will be firmly etched in our minds and hearts.

personally, i have always loved the classes i have been in. But somehow, i have yet to meet any class where i can really say i love each and everyone of the members of the class. 0719 is the first and probably the only one.

i know this sounds kinda cliqued but still i want to thank all of u for your understanding and help throughout the year. perhaps most of u may think that i am clever but really i am not. i think some of u will know what an idiot i am in "certain" areas. whatever it is, i really want to thk all of u for everything.

Below i would just like to include my impression of each and every member of 0719:

firstly, the guys. i din really talk to you all alot but i think all of you are quite unique in your own ways. Benedict is really funny and he never fails to bring laughter to the class. It's like he can just do nothing but laugh and the whole class will laugh with him. Benjamin. i think he really surprises me alot. He is actually into opera! that's something that i would never associate him with had it not been for his sharing during chi lesson. But overall, i think he is quite nice and friendly. Hon Ding-someone who dont like chinese to the extent of hating it? But still he is quite nice la. Moorthy. One who has his own thoughts and lots of ideas. Friendly and nice.

The girls, who belong to the majority:)
Hongchen and huiying: I know the two of them for a longer period than the rest. Huiying is VERY friendly and has helped me ALOT. Hongchen is someone who is not afraid to share what she really thinks.

Xinyun: artistically inclined. funny. loves to sleep. Jingyi: friendly, talented, helpful. Qiao Meng: very good in chinese. friendly. Eunice: friendly. Jingxuan: smart, hardworking.

Lan Hua: very 能干, hardworking, friendly. She is just like a sister to me. Huijun: can be quite fierce when she dont smile. I think she is a perfect eg of bilingualism.

Yi Ting: humorous. Su Jun: friendly, helpful. Yanyu: she really deserves to be Miss Photogenic.
Bao Zhen: adorable. kind and nice. Jamie: though i dont talk to her often, i think she is really nice and humorous.

Ningzhen: very clever. hardworking. Yu Mei: quiet. But i see a diff side of her when she is with hongchen.

Miow Qin: friendly. Tiffany: very 阳光. friendly.

Xinyu: our very wonderful and capable ct rep. friendly. thoughtful.

Tks everyone. and though results are alr out, i hope all of us can still remain positive. I agree with baozhen that miracles happen.

first of all, i must say that i'm so touched by xinyu's post.
to xinyu: u'll get promoted so don't be too worried okay?
i'm sure the teachers will step in to help you too.

to the class: since promos are already over, we should at least heave a sigh of relief and say " it's finally over!"
for those who have done well for your promos: "CONGRATS!"
for those who have not done so well: "don't feel disheartened. it's not the overall grade so there's still hope. so for the time being, while we wait patiently for our finalised results, stay positive and hopeful. Miracles can happen (i think it happened to me) and i'll keep u guys in prayer.
i really hope that no one will get retained in our class too..
This is also my first time to be in a class which is so harmonious..

i want to take this opportunity to thank those who has helped me in one way or another through this difficult ordeal, be it in rendering help for my school work or to encourage me in any way, THANKS! (u should know who you are. =P) And thank god i've survived through this when i thought i'll be dead by now. God Bless!

heys people. xinyu, aka fish, aka mian bao chao ren here!!. =]

results are back. emotions are mixed for many of us. but still, life has to go on. we still have our pw to work for. may all of us secure an 'A' for this subject. make the cert looks nicer. =)

well. this class has got to be one of the class i most enjoyed going to. at least the people here cohibit harmoniously and laughter never fails to linger in the air. we have all sorts of people in this class. for the guys, there are 4 types. well, what do you expect? there are only 4 guys in the class. lol. we have the china type: benedict; the ang-moh type: hon ding; the beng-beng type: benjemeer and well, the non-chinese: moorthy. somehow i still cannot picture the 4 vastly different types of guys in the same class. but somehow, the class still thrives. hurray!! =)

for the ladies, we have our friendliest ever huiying; the blur yet adorable eunice; the cute and funny qiaomeng; the talented jingyi; the artistically inclined xinyun; the a bit lame, but packed with logical thinking huijun; the studious and smiley ningzhen; the sotong lanhua; the charming and photogenic yanyu; the pretty and hardworking jingxuan; the straight talking but very very cute baozhen; the very very humurous yiting; the sociable jamie; the quiet yumei; the sunshine tiffany; the caring and thoughtful miowqin; the lame lame sujun; the clever yet humble caiyun; the most personality hongchen. last but not least, me. =)

it is hard to believe that the class has got together for like 7 months already. this period of time, neither long nor short. yet, this is one of the most fufilling time in my life. if not for this class, i would not have met so many wonderful people. if not for this class, i would not have so much unforgettable memories engraved deep within my heart. if not for this class......

these few days i shall visit all sorts of places of worship in singapore. hmm. si ma lu guanyin temple... what else is there? i only know of this one. hahas. =) will be praying to all the gods in singapore. hopefully, nobody gets retained or something. cos this class, to me, is like a big family. i dont know if you all have watched Lilo and Stitch the movie, but there is always one quote that will be lingering in my mind.

" Ohana means family. And family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten."

let me say sumting here since we have all gotten back our results.....
my class here...has given me lots of laughter and joy throughout the whole year...and i am realli fortunate in this class....and i am proud to say that i dun have anybody i dun like in this class...cos last time in sec have people i hate in my class....but this is the first class that i like everybody......
so if we were to part.....i will be very sad...
special thanks to our chairpersons huiying and mian bao....thanks for the wonderful chalet we had last week.....i love it...in fact...we love it.....and the Mr and Miss Of 19 was a great idea to keep the class bonded.....

to da jie da, xiao mei xiao- wow...u have done so well for promos...did our class proud!

to meow and ruixi-....i muz say....it had been a wonderful time with u two crappy friends.....life will be boring without u two.....

to benjamin, honding, moorthy-...heyz....the other three guys of 0719....hahz..i hope we guys stay bonded...and dun let the girls rule us!!!>..hahz

to qiaomeng, lanhua, xinyun, ningzhen, jingyi-...heyz....u all had been great frenz....and i will nt forget the always eat chicken rice qiaomeng, the blur lanhua, the jiao zi zhen, and the artist jingyi.....

to eunice and yumei-....eunice!...the funnie one...hahz..stay happy and cute always!....and yumei!...i noticed the second half of the year u tok more and became more crappy le!...hahz

everybody, i will lyk to use this blog as a platform to clear some misunderstandings todae......
project work has been killer since its starting and we have many commitments other than studies.....thus, we tend to lose track to things and not take care of many small details. Maybe its due to my bad temper that angers sum one ......but in the first place, i plead u to tell us wad u worry of....i really dunt noe wad to do now...cos given the situation yesterday, i feel that we cannot hestitate any more le...or else its a dead end liao....then if u tell me str away wad u think , i wouldnt have said that in the first place.....i am nt trying to say that it is nt my fault but i fact i am sorry that i was too anxious yesterday, but next time, pls say wad u think, dun keep everything to urself...pls pls....

Hehe, guess that all of us are so caught up with our own activities and school work that we've no time to blog. Here's a joke for everyone to de-stress:

There were three people cast away on a deserted island: a chemist, an engineer & an economist. There was no food on the island and their plight seemed desperate.

Then they discovered a crate of canned food that had been washed up on the island. When they realised that they had no means of opening the cans, they decided that each of them should use their expertise to find a solution.
